Three Goat Farm CSA is a Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) farm, serving the Utica-Rome area. The farm is located on 9 acres just off Route 233 in Westmoreland on South Street, between Route 5 and the NYS Thruway.
Bernie & Denise Szarek have over 30 years of farming and growing experience. They have been growing using hydoponic methods for 6 years. As “Good Stewards” of the land feel very strongly about this growing method.
They use IPM (integrated pest management) and eradicate pests in the early stages of the problem by using natural enemies (beneficial insects), natural solutions and absolutely NO pesticides or insecticides.
2012 was a wonderful year here on the farm!! We would like to thank all our loyal shareholders for their support. We have lots of plans in the works for 2013!! We will have a new farm store, making it easier for you to pick up your CSA Veggies as well as your monthly Wholeshare pickup.
